This modern farmhouse dining area has my name written all over it! The white bright walls and open ceiling bounce light around the room while the wood accents bring texture and warmth. Then you add striking black accents for a modern feel. I'll take it all please! It's always fun finding an inspiration photo for your space, but it can be challenging to find similar pieces within a budget. So what pieces should you spend money on and which are you paying too much for? We've got you covered! I've collected some of our favorite similar finds for this beauty
It all started when I stumbled upon an article about a new cafe called Moby 3143 in Melbourne. I fell in love with the color scheme of their design and just knew I'd have to do a color mix post on these two hues. I am so excited to be sharing some of the before and after shots from the oceanfront home we just renovated and staged down at Topsail Island. The home had good bones but hadn't been upgraded in any way since it was built in the 80's. Time for a little cleaning up and updating. As you can see from the before photos, the deck needed some cleaning up. Want to add warmth and style to your walls without breaking the bank? We thought so! There's a new textured wall hanging trend that's turning heads and we'll show you all the different ways to get the look, no matter what your budget. OPTION 1: BASKETS This look has been around for a while, but seems to be making a strong comeback. I remember clients asking for this when I worked down by the beach and it definitely lends itself to a more relaxed feel. What's been neat about seeing it come back is that it's not just for coastal homes anymore.
I'll be the first one to invite you over for charcuterie and a bottle of wine, but lately I've been craving a bit more out of our summer soirees. I'm thinking a sophisticated picnic is just what I'm craving. Check out some of these inspiring events. Layered rugs and pillows make these picnic spots cozy, while simple greenery on the tabletops create a relaxed feel. Image Credit: 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 So what do all of these have in common? They all include a rug or blanket as the base and then layer with
I'll be the first to tell you that I usually dismiss trendy furniture. I myself choose neutral couches and I encourage my clients to do the same. It's so much easier (and far less expensive!) to change a few throw pillow covers in a few years when the trends change. That being said, the whole emerald couch trend is here to stay, and I'm not upset about it! Jewel tones will always be classic, no matter how the color trends change from season to season. In pairing this gorgeous, deep green with a soft luxurious velvet, you've got a combination
